Rose Maidens Volunteers to take on Secretary Role
After the recent General Meeting Lyn Kroes who has been our secretary mentioned that she would prefer to look after event coordination but needed someone to take over as Secretary.
To everyone’s surprise we had an immediate response with Rose offering to do the job. This was greeted with applause by the members. We are extremely grateful to Rose.
At the Management Committee Meeting the next week Lyn formally resigned as secretary and Rose was officially appointed as Secretary. The committee looks forward to working with Rose.
We are also looking for someone to coordinate our publicity. If you have skills in that field we would love to hear from you so that we can more effectively promote U3A.

Hi, I’m Rose, my hobbies include reading, jigsaws, walking and thoroughly enjoying playing pickleball. I am looking forward to taking on the role of secretary and hope I can fulfill it as well as Lyn has.
