U3A Gympie recently made a significant impact at the Seniors Expo, held on 25th October at the Senior Citizens Centre as part of Seniors Month, hosted by Gympie Regional Council (GRC).
The Expo provided a vital platform for U3A Gympie to engage with the local community and connect with various community organizations. Their exhibit garnered attention from seniors seeking educational classes and sparked interest among other groups looking for potential collaboration.
Under GRC’s management, the event featured local talents, and attendees enjoyed a delightful morning tea courtesy of Meals on Wheels.
U3A Gympie’s participation showcased the importance of community engagement and collaboration. As Seniors Month draws to a close we remain committed to promoting lifelong learning and fostering a vibrant senior community.
