Book Clubs – Monthly (1 or 2 hrs depending on Book Club)
Book Clubs promote healthy ageing by stimulating and enlarging our minds through the adventures we experience in the books we read each month. We have three book clubs, Bookworms (Wednesday), Bookmarks (Wednesday) and Bookends (Thursday), with a different book read each month.
Note: Sets of books are borrowed from Gympie Regional Library. Each year, members of a Book Club pay for the purchase of a set of books. These are donated to the library. This contribution is in addition to the class fee and will depend on the cost of the books chosen.

This class is more aerobic than our regular classes. We use flotation belts in deep water to keep afloat, and mostly do running, kicking and arm movements. Although the belts are a bit hard to get used to, they certainly help get the heart pumping.
This class is held in the outdoor pool, at the Gympie Aquatic Recreation Centre. It starts at 9.30am to 10.30am on Thursday mornings, after our regular AQUA class and coffee.
