    A funeral service is to be held on Monday 17th January 2022, to celebrate the life of Lillian Wallace. Commencing at 2:30 pm, at Gympie Funerals chapel. There is also a viewing on Monday, 10 January at 4:00 pm for anyone who may wish to attend.
    Lillian’s family are hoping to make the funeral a celebration of Lil’s life.  They are wanting to make it an opportunity for her friends and family to remember the good times. The only COVID restrictions they have been advised is that all attending will need to wear a mask. There will be an opportunity after the service to gather at Lil’s home for a cuppa or a glass of wine for anyone who would like to go.
    Anyone who cannot attend in person are able to be present via livestream. This will be good for those family and friends who are interstate also. Please advise your email address for this purpose to, and it will be forwarded to the family.
  2. All U3A Gympie Activities including Open Day for 2022, the Annual General Meeting for 2022, Term 1 Classes, Courses social activitees, and face-to-face Management Committee Meetings have been cancelled.  The Management Committee Members will be reviewing this discussion in six weeks with all members being notified of the outcome by email or on our social media sites.
  3. COVID-19 Vaccination Policy for 2022.  U3A Gympie has adopted a Vaccination Policy that is in line with the Queensland Government directives.  Therefore, only Members and visitors who are fully vaccinated against COVID-19 or have a medical exception registered on the Australian Immunisation Register can attend our classes, courses, and functions in 2022.
