This term we are using a new system to manage memberships and classes. It’s called Member Wizard and it was developed here in Queensland.
We took advantage of a 3 month trial to check it out and the Management Committee decided that we would make the change from the system we were using. It will be a lot easier for future committees to use.
The old system MyU3A was the best option at the time we started using it but Member Wizard have been working with U3A groups in Queensland to create an easy to use system.
We have found Member Wizard to be much easier to use and maintain and also gives us some extra features such as event management. This will be useful for events such as our Annual Luncheon.
We are not alone as over half the U3A groups in Queensland are using Member Wizard.
For those members who have previously used MyU3A you will notice some differences. You will no longer need a password but you will still need an active email account.
Whether you are joining, renewing your membership or enrolling in classes, you enter your registered email and you get a confirmation email with payment details.
Payments can be via a secure Card (Credit or Debit) payment or you can choose Direct Deposit to our bank account.
Remember that cash payments are no longer being taken by Tutors or Committee members at classes. Cash and EFTPOS payments can be made at the sign-on at our new office 5th July 11:30am – 2:00pm. and each day of the first week of term.
