Its with great pleasure I can announce that we have secured a base for U3A Gympie. A big thank-you goes to Gympie & Districts Tennis Association Tennis for allowing us to rent a room at the Cartwright Road centre.

We will soon be moving our equipment out of the storage shed. The room will allow us to store our equipment, provide office space and allow us eventually to hold meetings and some small classes.

The arrangement is a great example of no-profit groups cooperating for mutual benefit.

I will be applying for a grant to furnish the room.
